Catalyst...."hey this word is very familiar to me"...sounded my heart...i went to my school days..yeah catalyst is a substance/things/event which kick start the changes in chemistry/physics or even in human relationships.
When i received a e-mail saying there would be session for three days between 10 to 4, first word came out from my heart was...uff...8 hours a day for three days...omg....!!!
Normally prejudice was/is/will never/not/never be my weakness! But with a heart weighing 50mg more, I stepped in to a hall which was already filled to the brim by enthusiastic students, professionals, consultants and so on. I chose one corner of the the hall where i can be my own!
But ऊपरवाले की सोच कुछ अलग था!
"Good morning guys" slightly higher decibel voice greeted us. The smiling madam in a black and red outfit welcomed us, and the wonderful journey kicked off.
At the end of the two days, (still a day more to go), heart was lighter by 100mg, and I was brimming with confidence. It is not that, whatever message learnt/conveyed was new for us, we didn't made an attempt to shred those extra ounce from our baggage and the moment we did after the days session, started feeling lighter!.
Yes, indeed it was. The session took off effortlessly and just like sunflower turns to the direction of the sun, we just followed smiling madam's words, and each phrase like an arrow hitting the bulls eye, started making way in to the heart.
"respectable fear"
"fear is fake evidence appearing in real"
"beg, borrow, steel"
"hope i am making sense"
"hope you understood"
"3 years of hardship....30 years of happy life"
"shred the procrastination and you would be the winner"
"people will always notice the small black dot on a white paper"
"english is just a language to communicate"
"KISS.. keep It Short & Simple"
like the above many phrases, it started pounding on my brain, and from the brain, it started seeping in to the veins of the heart.
The self introduction style, the small small exercises, correcting the mistakes with a smile on the face, just like mother teaches her kids, it was not a shy feel to correct ourselves.
The task of drawing elephant by the team, and later explaining what is correct, and what could have been a better way, came really well from the madam.
The well executed small kits from a situation added zing to the training session.
I read some where, " It was very true. As madam said, it is not that, we don't know what is what, and what is right. It is just we never or rather we didn't tried to resurrect ourselves. Madam put a wonderful effort to remove the "cobwebs" my from heart. Thank you madam!
This blog is dedicated to energetic Ms. Kirthi for her nonstop pep talk and wonderful information provided in a very simple manner with radiating smile all the time.
The effort of the supporting staff is highly commendable right from organising the session to spreading all over the session by felicitating with the materials, required breaks and of course helping the audience to participate in the exercises.
I felt after the second day, my soul stood out in front of me and telling "Sri.. just listen to her words, and keep practicing it for 21 days it becomes your Habit, and Habit will bring the world to your hands!!!!
Thank you Ms. Kirthi madam and Ms. Divya madam. I would like to give a separate space for Mr. Kiran for superb pep talk - "No problems we choose the participants" with a brilliant soothing smile in bringing best in us by helping us in creating a story from few dies and the wonderful group discussion by a team.
I feel i invested a good 18 hours for a better tomorrow...oh no.. wipe out the procrastination...for a better today, spilling through out the career and life!!!
Kudos Mission Catalyst!!!
